Reverse Osmosis (RO) Water Treatment Plant – 9000 GPD / 1500 LPH
Approx. Suitable for 2400–4800 Persons
Product Overview
This 9000 GPD (approximately 1500 LPH) RO Water Treatment Plant is engineered for locations where drinking water demand fluctuates heavily throughout the day, and a stable, high-output purification system is essential.
Instead of simply scaling up membrane count, this system emphasizes robust pre-treatment and flow stability, using a 20×72 (2072) FRP pressure vessel to handle higher inlet water loading. The larger vessel volume allows deeper filter media beds, ensuring consistent feed water quality, reduced pressure drop, and smoother long-hour operation.
The plant is ideally suited for industrial facilities, large mosques, residential labor housing, educational campuses, and public drinking water distribution points, serving approximately 2,400–4,800 users, depending on operating hours and per-person consumption.

Working Principle
Raw water passes through sand and carbon filtration to stabilize turbidity and chemical load.
Pre-treated water is pressurized and fed to the RO membranes, where only pure water molecules pass through.
Treated permeate water is collected for consumption, while reject water carries away concentrated impurities.
Suitable Applications
Large factories & industrial units
Educational campuses & hostels
Mosques & religious complexes
Worker housing & labor camps
Residential colonies & community water points
Commercial food preparation zones
Key Advantages
High-volume, stable drinking water production
2072 FRP vessel ensures strong pre-treatment performance
Reduced membrane fouling and pressure fluctuations
Long membrane life and lower maintenance frequency
Consistent water quality during peak demand hours
Suitable for continuous institutional operation
Operation & Maintenance
Periodic backwash of sand and carbon filters
Cartridge filter replacement as per pressure drop
RO membrane life is typically 2–3 years
CIP cleaning based on permeate flow and pressure trend
Routine monitoring of TDS, pressure, and flow rates
Design & Selection Guidelines
Raw water testing (TDS, iron, hardness, chlorine, turbidity) is mandatory
Pre-treatment upgrades (iron removal/softener) may be required for difficult raw water
Final performance depends on feed water quality and operating conditions
